Tips for stamping on fabric

Look how good our stamps look printed on fabric! For better results we recommend using Versacraft ink from Tsukineko, which you can already find in the store.

Here are some useful tips for printing on fabric:

💦 Wash the garment before printing it to remove possible stains or sizing it may bring from the factory.

💮 Dip the stamp into the ink pad with gentle dabs until the design is covered. You don't need to over-soak the stamp, as the pattern lines could be too thick.

☝🏼 Make sure the fabric is flat. You can iron it before if necessary to remove wrinkles. Place the stamp in the place you want to stamp and press avoiding displacement. If the fabric is made by natural fibers such as cotton, much better.

⏱ Lift the stamp vertically and wait about 15 minutes for the ink to dry.

☀️ To ensure that your print will withstand washing, you must apply heat with an iron at the temperature recommended on the garment label. You can iron it inside out or place a clean cloth between the iron and the garment. Apply heat for about 15 seconds and ready!

🌡 Over time and washes the ink can lose intensity. We recommend you wash the garment by hand or machine up to 30º. Do not wash it in the first 24 hours after printing and make sure to dry it in the shade.
